Speaker Guidelines

Speaker Guidelines

Important Note on Presentation Format

Presentations scheduled for the Largo or Cedar rooms must be formatted at a 4:3 aspect ratio.

Presentations scheduled for the Clementine or Lime rooms must be formatted at a 16:9 aspect ratio.

Keynote Speaker Guidelines

If you are a Keynote that is presenting on the Main Stage, you can create your PowerPoint in either of two file types:

1. Keynote – Preferred by our in-house A/V formatted at 16:9
2. PowerPoint  – Formatted 16:9 (keep it simple with fonts and designs)

If your presentation is created in PowerPoint, we recommend you do a run through with the A/V crew the night before you are to present. Any of our staff members will be able to help you with this.

Email your Dropbox links and/or send your presentations to chris@podfest.us and john@podfestexpo.com and bring a copy of your PowerPoint on a jump drive with you to Podfest.

Pecha Kucha Guidelines

Each speaker gets five minutes to showcase 20 slides for 15 seconds each. There will be meet & greet networking at the half-way point for speakers and attendees to meet each other and ask questions. Pecha Kucha will be held in the Largo Room.

Your point-of-contact for Pecha Kucha is Kyle Musser and all Pecha Kucha speakers must email their presentations to him at kyle@vx3digital.com

Kyle will be compiling all Pecha Kucha presentations in order to achieve a continuous flow.

The deadline to send your presentations is no later than Monday, Feb 5th by noon.

These presentations are meant to inspire, educate, entertain, and answer questions to challenges, or introduce new ideas. We allow a broad diverse set of topics to be covered. Get creative!

Michael Crose will be your Master of Ceremonies.

Arrive early as we have limited seating! This event is free to ALL attendees and their spouses.

Breakout and Panel Presentation Guidelines

For those that are breakout presenters, please bring your laptop with you, as it’s easiest if we play the presentation straight from your laptop.

We will have dongles to connect to your computer to projectors, but we encourage you bring yours too.

Panels: MCs will be contacting the panels they are facilitating and ask if there are any visuals needed for the session. If so, we recommend the MC construct a simple identifying slide with the persons brand and face and name on the slide.
